Inside Kanha Shanti Vanam
Not near the campus - within it. The gardens, the woodland and the meditation hall are a walk from your room, not a drive.

The Pearl · Kanha
Kanha Shanti Vanam, Telangana
The hotel
The Pearl opened at Kanha Shanti Vanam in 2018 as the group's flagship: forty-four rooms and suites built for people who came for the campus and found they wanted to stay longer. The building is quiet and unfussy - pale stone, timber, and as much daylight as the glazing will carry. What distinguishes it is not the specification but the setting. Step outside and you are in restored woodland, formal gardens and open water rather than a car park.
Why this hotel
Not near the campus - within it. The gardens, the woodland and the meditation hall are a walk from your room, not a drive.
Small enough that the front office knows your name by the second morning, and large enough to hold a full residential meeting.
A yoga studio, Kerala Ayurveda and a wellness centre on the same campus - gently available, never imposed on a stay.
A banquet hall, a conference room and open pavilions, so a company can meet, eat and sleep without leaving the grounds.
Getting here
Thirty-one kilometres from an international airport, and far enough past it that you hear birds instead of traffic. Practical for a two-night meeting.
Hyderabad airport
Leave the airport on the Bengaluru highway and turn off at Thimmapur. Transfers arranged by reservations.
Nearest railhead
The closest station. Secunderabad is 54 km and Hyderabad Deccan 48 km if you are on a long-distance train.
The city
Far enough out that the city stops before you arrive. Straight down NH 44, most of it open road.
Business corridor
Natco, MSN Labs, P&G, Johnson & Johnson, Amazon HYD7 and the Microsoft data centre.
Accommodation
Thoughtfully designed spaces for restful stays. Two room types, both looking onto planting rather than parking.
The hotel's standard room and the majority of its inventory. Quiet, well lit, and sized for a stay rather than a night - a desk you can actually work at, and a window onto planting.
Two-thirds again the size of a Deluxe, with a separate sitting area. The room the hotel puts a visiting speaker or a family in.

In the hotel
The list below is the hotel's own. Where a facility sits on the wider campus rather than inside the building, it says so - a distinction most hotel websites blur.

The setting
Kanha Shanti Vanam was largely barren ground before it was planted. What stands now is restored woodland, a nursery, formal gardens and open water - and at its centre Babuji Vanam, described by its makers as the world's first energy transmission garden: forty tree species, medicinal planting, a central water body and gravel pathways laid for walking barefoot. The meditation hall was built for a hundred thousand people and is most days almost empty. None of this belongs to the hotel. The hotel simply sits inside it, which is the whole proposition.
Kanha Shanti Vanam is a Heartfulness campus. The Pearl is its hotel.

The Pearl difference
The Pearl belongs to a movement rather than to an investor - it changes where the money goes. What a night here earns returns to the campus around it: the gardens, the nursery, the schools and the free medical centre. You will not be asked to take part in any of it. It is simply what your stay is doing while you sleep.
A pace set by the guest, not by the schedule.
Revenue that returns to the place it was earned in.
