An Ayurveda centre in the building
Traditional Kerala Ayurvedic therapies, a wellness consultation and Polarity Healing - so the treatment and the bed are in the same place, not a drive apart.

The Pearl · Wellness
Kanha Shanti Vanam, Telangana
What is ours, what is not
The Pearl Wellness opened in 2022 beside the flagship: thirty rooms, an Ayurveda centre, a yoga studio and a restaurant open seven to nine. The yoga is the Heartfulness Yoga Academy's. The meditation is Heartfulness's, and free. The Ayurveda and Panchakarma belong to Wellness by Heartfulness, who take their own bookings. We run the rooms, the kitchen and the day.
Saying that plainly costs us nothing and saves you a misunderstanding. We will arrange any of it, and we will tell you whose it is.
Wellness by HeartfulnessWhy this hotel
Traditional Kerala Ayurvedic therapies, a wellness consultation and Polarity Healing - so the treatment and the bed are in the same place, not a drive apart.
The Heartfulness Yoga Academy is accredited by the Ministry of AYUSH through the Yoga Certification Board, and by Yoga Alliance at RYS 200 and 300. Guest classes are free.
The Wellness Restaurant builds meals around each guest's programme, with dietary requirements agreed with the wellness team rather than guessed at.
420 sq ft as standard and 610 in the Extension, with split beds, a sofa set and a personal locker. Built for a week, not a night.
Getting here
Twenty-seven and a half kilometres from an international airport, eleven from Kothur. Transfers are arranged by reservations.
Hyderabad airport
Sedan ₹1,600, Innova or XUV ₹2,000, Innova Crysta ₹2,500, excluding 5% GST.
Nearest railhead
Kacheguda is 47 km and about the same. Shadnagar, the nearest halt, is 18 km.
The city
Shamshabad is 28 km and Shadnagar 18 km, both thirty to forty minutes.
Business corridor
MSN Laboratories, Natco Pharma, P&G, Johnson & Johnson, Vamsi Pharma, Horizon Industrial Park and Amazon at Penjerla.
Rooms
Two types over two floors. Both have split beds, central air conditioning, a personal electronic locker and a sofa set - the specification of a room someone lives in rather than passes through.
The standard room and twenty-seven of the thirty. Split beds, a sofa set and a study table, with a calm, unfussy interior and a bathroom finished in stone. At 420 sq ft it is nearly twice the size of the flagship's standard room.
Three of these, and the reason to ask early. At 610 sq ft with two separate washrooms and two beds, it is the room for a family or a group travelling together - the only one on the property that takes five adults.
Facilities
The hotel's own facilities first. The pool, the gym and the sports academy are on the wider campus, five minutes away by golf cart - we say which is which rather than counting someone else's facilities as ours.

Dining
The Wellness Restaurant is on the lobby level, open seven in the morning to nine at night, and it cooks to your plan rather than to a printed card.
Meals are prepared to complement each guest's wellness programme, and dietary requirements are agreed with the wellness team rather than guessed at. Buffet breakfast is complimentary, from seven to ten.
Across Kanha Shanti Vanam, dining is vegetarian. That is not a restriction the hotel imposes - it is how the campus eats, and it is worth knowing before you arrive rather than after.

Yoga
The Heartfulness Yoga Academy is on the first floor of the Wellness Centre, a few minutes from the hotel. It is accredited by the Ministry of AYUSH through the Yoga Certification Board, and internationally by Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga School at both the 200 and 300-hour levels.
For a guest, that mostly means the free daily community classes - Heartfulness Yoga, which sets asana alongside meditation rather than after it. There is therapeutic yoga for people working around an injury or a condition, and kids' yoga.
For anyone who wants to go further, the academy runs the 200-hour and 300-hour teacher trainings, a Yoga Protocol Instructor course, mudra certification and a free introductory course. Those are the academy's programmes, on the academy's calendar; we will put you in touch.

Meditation
Heartfulness meditation is taught free of charge by a certified trainer, to anyone who asks, whether or not they are staying with us. That is not a promotion. It is how the practice has always been given, and it is the reason a hotel can sit inside a campus like this one without the two things being in tension.
The practice is four simple things: relaxation, meditation, cleaning, and prayer. A trainer will take you through them in a first sitting that lasts under an hour. You are not signing up to anything, and nobody follows up.
The Main Meditation Hall was opened by the President of India in January 2020 and is, by Heartfulness's own account, the largest in the world - a roof with no walls, with eight satellite halls around it. Sitting in it when it is nearly empty is a different experience from sitting in it when it is full, and both are worth having.
Guests who would rather not sit at all should feel entirely comfortable saying so. It comes up less often than you would think, and nobody minds.

Ayurveda & Natural Therapies
This section was briefed as two - Ayurveda, and Spa & Therapies. There is no spa at The Pearl and none published anywhere on the campus, so we have made it one honest section instead of inventing a second. If a spa opens, this page will say so.

Retreat Programmes
Four programmes, from a single night to nine. Names and durations are the client's own rates are quoted at enquiry because they depend on room category, therapy and the time of year.

2 days · 1 night
One night. Arrive in the afternoon, sit once, eat twice, sleep properly, leave after breakfast. The shortest useful version of this place.

4 days · 3 nights
Long enough for a consultation to turn into a course of therapy, and for a yoga class to stop feeling like an event.

6 days · 5 nights
The middle length, and the one most guests are pointed towards. Practice, therapy and rest arranged around each other rather than stacked.

10 days · 9 nights
The full Panchakarma-length stay, with the campus becoming ordinary around you. Booked well ahead, and worth planning around.

Corporate Wellness Retreats
A leadership offsite that is genuinely quiet, forty-five minutes from an international airport, in the middle of a pharmaceutical and manufacturing corridor. There is no other property nearby that can say all three.
Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, MSN Laboratories and Natco Pharma all run plants in the Kothur and Nandigama mandals - the same ground Kanha sits on, or the next one over. Horizon Industrial Park is in Kothur too. For a team that would otherwise burn a day travelling to a hill station, this is a short drive.
The shape that works is two nights: a working session in the conference hall or boardroom, a yoga class that people actually attend because it is fifty metres away, a sitting for anyone who wants one, and dinner without a bar to migrate to. What the campus does to a room full of people who arrived tense is the part that is difficult to put in a proposal.
Plan Your Wellness Stay
Two enquiries, two places. The room is ours. The therapy is not. Send both and we will make sure they line up.
Questions
If the answer is not here, reservations will have it.
No. There is a Wellness Centre run by Wellness by Heartfulness, offering Ayurveda and Panchakarma, naturopathy, physiotherapy, diet therapy, acupressure and consultations. Treatment follows a consultation rather than a menu. We would rather say this plainly than have you arrive expecting a spa.

Plan a stay
Thirty wellness rooms, added in 2022. The rest of it has been here rather longer.
